Pre-Arranged FundsFDSA operates the FDSA Pre-Arranged Funeral Fund which is the depositary of Regular and Affiliate member's pre-need funds. This fund is professionally invested and managed. Nearly all bookkeeping functions are done for participants. CE ProgramsContinuing education programs are offered throughout each year for members and other funeral professionals. A wide variety of seminars are offered for the benefit and interest of those who attend. LiaisonFDSA maintains an ongoing liaison with pertinent government agencies at all levels. As a membership benefit with no additional cost to FDSA members, utilization of this program can be touted as the “Best Management Tool Ever.” Music LicensingAs a member of Funeral Directors Association Coalition, FDSA members can obtain a discount on music licensing fees. Incident FormsWe provide assistance to our members regarding incidents with hospitals, nursing homes, agencies, etc. FDSA follows-up on complaints and problems and reinforces the proper way to operate. Golf TournamentsEach summer, FDSA and Worsham College of Mortuary Science cosponsor a golf tournament at a Chicago area golf club or resort for the enjoyment of its members. A good time is had by all and participants are eligible to win valuable raffle prizes as well as golf gifts for every golfer. Social ProgramsThrough the years, our Association has offered its members and other guests beautiful social programs, including plays, dinner dances and other fun activities. These have been held at such venues as the Shedd Aquarium, Field Museum, Navy Pier, Museum of Science and Industry, Brookfield Zoo and other interesting locations. FDSA is an active, viable association doing everything possible to be of assistance to our members and to promote the best in funeral service.
